Precautions

Tritace should not be used in any of the circumstances listed below:

• Tritace passes through breastmilk so you should not take this medication if you are breastfeeding

• If you have tightening of one of the valves in the heart (mitral valve stenosis)
• If you are allergic to one of its ingredients or to other ACE inhibitors
• If you suffer from low blood pressure
• If you are pregnant or intending to become pregnant because this medication can affect the unborn baby.

Side effects

Some of the side effects were already mentioned above: dizziness and allergic reaction. Other milder but common side effects include headache, nausea, dry mouth and cough, vomiting, and diarrhea.
